Booking your holiday (rental/letting) at your self catering gite "Gone Fishin"is normally from Saturday to Saturday but we ask you to consider a weekday arrival because the Flights and Ferries are so much cheaper mid-week.
Should your preferred arrival date coincide with guests already at "Gone Fishin" for example you want to arrive on the Wednesday but guests do not leave until the Thursday there is no problem, simply arrive on the Wednesday (1st day of your holiday) a light salad awaits you and stay in our guest room in the main house en-suite, breakfast is on the house for free!! and as soon as we have said goodbye to our gîte guests and have spring cleaned the gîte you can move in, every ones happy.
This arrangement has worked well for many years and we can assure Gite guest's who are already enjoying their holiday that at no time does it interfere with your 'promise of exclusivity' because you have not only your own private entrance to the gite but a reminder you have your own private garden and orchard and are sole user of the amenities around the lake.
You might be amazed how much money you could save on the travelling mid week.
