Places of interest whilst on holiday at Gone Fishin' Pujols and Penne d'Agenais,                                                                          Lot et Garonne 

          

Pujols stands high on its hill overlooking Villeneuve sur Lot and only 2km to the south. 

It is a lovely fortified medieval town easily reached from the D118 out of Villeneuve.

 It has grand views over the surrounding countryside, and the church of St.Foy has 15th century frescoes.

        

Penne d’Agenais is a few kilometres south west of Villeneuve a small village, it is never the less a very pretty place to visit.

There are many attractive houses and buildings to see as you make your way up through the village, many carefully renovated in recent years. Again easily reached from D911, take the signed right turn in St.Sylvestre-sur-Lot.
